About the Civic Education Collaborative
Through classroom, co-curricular, and experiential learning opportunities, Penn State helps students develop the curiosity, skills, knowledge, and experience to act with integrity and generate positive impacts throughout their lives and careers. Aligned with these university goals, Penn State’s Civic Education Collaborative brings together faculty and staff from across the university in shared efforts to foster and develop students’ civic knowledge and engagement.
Civic Education Collaborative partners include: Penn State Votes, the Office for General Education, the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence, the Penn State News Literacy Initiative, the School of Public Policy, the McCourtney Institute for Democracy, Penn State University Libraries, and World in Conversation, and faculty and staff from across the university.
