Undergraduate Education, Faculty Affairs Reorganization Update
As announced by Provost Tracy Langkilde in the July 29 email to staff, the following changes have been made to reorganize Undergraduate Education and Faculty Affairs.
- Undergraduate Education and Faculty Affairs will be led by Kathy Bieschke in her new role as Senior Vice Provost, effective July 1. Kathy will also serve as Interim Dean of Undergraduate Education.
- The two offices will remain as separate entities, but the reorganization will synergize our efforts and create opportunities to better align our daily work and collaborate more closely on strategic priorities.
- Jeff Adams will report to Kathy and resume his position as Senior Associate Vice Provost and Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education. All Undergraduate Education and Faculty Affairs associate vice provosts will report to Kathy and Undergraduate Education unit leaders will report to their current associate vice provost, as assigned.
- Undergraduate Education Strategic Communications office will expand their role and provide support to Undergraduate Education, Faculty Affairs, and the core Provost’s office and will report directly to Kathy.
Staff are encouraged to reach out to their directors and the new senior leadership team with questions and ideas.
