Strategic investments in an AI-driven future

Provost Sotiropoulos discusses Penn State’s AI Transformation initiative.

In February, Penn State announced several strategic investments to help position the University as a leader in artificial intelligence education, cross-disciplinary research, and innovation. The Penn State AI Transformation investment and educational commitments include:

  • University-wide AI literacy and transformation of teaching and learning
  • AI-focused faculty hiring
  • AI tools, infrastructure and resources expansion
  • Centralized AI leadership
